寺院里住着两个僧人,一老一小。小和尚按照老和尚的方法修持、打坐、诵经,日复一日,却不见有什么大的长进。小和尚很是着急,心想自己什么时侯才能有师父的修为呢?如果有一种灵丹妙药,使人能够速成就好了。老和尚知道了他的想法,笑着对他说:“其实也不难,世上确有一种能启迪人智慧的灵丹,你若有心,师父愿陪你一起去找。” Two monks live in the monastery, one young and one old. The young monk practices, meditates and chants according to the method of the old monk, day after day, but does not see any big progress. The young monk was in a hurry and wondered what time it would take Master to cultivate it. If there was a miraculous cure, it would be quicker. The old monk knew his thoughts and smiled and said to him: “Actually, it is not difficult. There is indeed a kind of miraculous spirit that can inspire people’s wisdom. If you are interested, Master would like to go with you.”
