Is it possible for young adults to become exposed to antibiotics to increase the risk of future over-obesity? A new study shows that exposure to antibiotics in infancy can lead to permanent digestive changes that increase the risk of obesity and metabolic abnormalities in adulthood. Recently, Dr. Laura M. Cox, Ph.D., of the Langevin Medical Center at New York University in the United States and his research team published in Cell. Some studies have used juvenile antibiotics with a variety of physical status associated with the future. For example, a survey last year said infants younger than 1 year old had antibiotics and a 40% increased risk of eczema.
