夏言渡河词碑位于获嘉县南17.5公里的亢村镇亢西村口。碑圆首、龟座。高3.2、宽1.25、厚0.66米。夏言书随驾渡河日进呈词一首。9行,169字,行书,字体大三寸许。夏言(1482——1548年),字公瑾,明江西贵溪人,正德进士,嘉靖初为谏官,十五年任少傅太子太师,礼部尚书兼武英殿大学士,后为辅首执政。十八年(己亥)正月晋特进光禄大夫,上柱国。二十年被严嵩排挤罢官,二十四年原职起用,二十七年被奸臣严嵩所害。著有《圣驾渡黄河记》、《桂洲集》、《南宫奏稿》等。
