“从20世纪20年代始,我国的一些音乐学者就已经开始在比较中探讨中西音乐文化之间的异同问题。”这方面的论著也相继问世。但是,集中、系统性地比较中、西古代音乐美学、哲学、文化等方面,1997年由人民出版社出版孙星群先生的《音乐美学之始祖〈乐记〉与〈诗学〉》(以下简称《始祖》是“专门研究的第一部专著① 全书共有十个篇章,每一个篇章比较一个中心议题。第一篇介绍、分析了《乐记》与《诗学》成书的古代历史、文化与思想的背景;第二节对“乐”的概念、内涵做了分析;之后,对其中音乐美学的具体观点、学说(也并非局限于《乐记》与《诗学》这两部著作)的异同进行了比较与分析。第三篇:“物
