自1986年9月起,我校使用交大主编的《大学核心英语(读写教程)》(以下简称《读写教程》)作为本科生分级教材。经过一年多的教学实践,我们认为这套教材有长处,有特点,原则上贯彻了(《大学英语教学大纲(高等学校理工科本科用)》(以下简称《大纲》)提出的“语言共核”、“交际能力”、“准确与流利”、“分级教学”等重要的教学指导思想;着重发展了学生运用语言进行交际的能力,使学生读、听、说和写的能力得到比较扎实的训练,运用英语较为自然,英语水平有了明显的提高。
Since September 1986, our university has used “Core English for College English (Reading and Writing Course)” (hereinafter referred to as “Reading and Writing Course”) compiled by the National Chiao Tung University as a grading textbook for undergraduates. After more than a year of teaching practice, we believe that this textbook has some strengths and characteristics. In principle, it implements the “language” proposed in the “Outline of the College English Syllabus (Undergraduate College of Science and Engineering)” (hereinafter referred to as the Outline) Such as “common core”, “communicative competence”, “accurate and fluent”, “graded teaching” and other important teaching guiding ideology; focus on developing the ability of students to use language to communicate, so that students read, Speaking and writing ability to get more solid training, the use of English is more natural, English has been significantly improved.
