香港总商会于1900年以华商公局名称创办,1913年改称香港华商总会,1952年正式定名香港中华总商会。香港中华总商会的宗旨是致力推动工商业发展,积极参与公共事务,以及促进香港与内地、国际间的经济交流与合作。
The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce was established in 1900 under the name of the Chinese Commerce Bureau. It was renamed as the Hong Kong Chinese Entrepreneurs General Association in 1913 and was formally named the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong in 1952. The mission of the Hong Kong Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry is to promote business development, take an active part in public affairs, and promote economic exchange and cooperation between Hong Kong and the Mainland.
