The complicated relationship between Chinese new poetry and minority culture is a long-neglected issue in poetry. How can the local knowledge of ethnic minorities participate in the occurrence and development of modern Chinese poetry in their own way? In the process of participation, how can local knowledge be actively absorbed and actively filtered as the “other” of mainstream culture? Looking at the Formation and Growth of the Minority Cultures and the Poetic Meanings of Modern Chinese New Poetry? All of these are yet to be discussed in depth by the researchers of poetry. This paper takes the complicated relationship between the landscape experience in Yunnan Province and Yunnan military poets and poets in the 1950s as a case to discuss the above issues.
