LM Ericsson 公司正在进行光纤器件和系统的研究,并研制成功以2.048Mbit/s作为第一级PCM的线路系统。目前一些这种线路系统正由用户试用。系统最初打算用于电力系统的配电网,因为在这种情况下,普通电缆系统传输质量不佳,要不然因电位差的关系系统必须与周围环境进行电绝缘。
LM Ericsson is working on fiber optic components and systems and has successfully developed a line system that is capable of delivering 2.048 Mbit / s as a first-level PCM. Some of these line systems are currently being tried out by users. The system was originally intended for use in the distribution network of the power system because in such cases the transmission quality of the ordinary cable system is poor or the system must be electrically isolated from the surrounding environment due to potential differences.
