铁西区卫生事业管理局(卫生局)领导在统一认识的基础上,加强了对妇幼保健工作的领导,采取了一系列倾斜政策,收到了明显效果。孕产妇死亡率由1986年的2.9/万下降到1991年的0;婴儿死亡率由1990年的11.65‰下降到1991年的11.3‰。
Based on their common understanding, the leaders of the Tiexi District Health Administration (Health Bureau) stepped up their leadership over the work of maternal and child health care and adopted a series of favorable policies that have achieved remarkable results. The maternal mortality rate dropped from 2.9% in 1986 to 0 in 1991; the infant mortality rate dropped from 11.65% in 1990 to 11.3% in 1991.
