Chinese painting schools are mostly divided by time and place. For Jiangsu, there are as many schools of art in the past, ranking first in the country. Only in the Qing Dynasty as an example, there are “Jinling”, “Lou”, “Yushan”, “Changzhou”, “Yangzhou”, “Beijing” various schools of painting. Shanghai was originally a province of Jiangsu. The “sea painting school” should also be on the list. Because of the passage of time, there is another article specifically discussed in the article, so it is not included here. The development of art is always associated with the economy. Jiangsu is located in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, but also adjacent to the East China Sea, described as China Tianbao, outstanding people. Developed commodity economy, resulting in culture and arts center since the Southern Song Dynasty moved from the Central Plains south, Jiangsu created a prosperous situation, forming a rich tradition.
