在盐湖上修建铁路是我国首创,盐湖地区修筑铁路的研究已在六十年代初被纳入铁道部的科研规划。在铁道部科学研究院、第一勘测设计院、第十七工程公司等单位组成科研协作组,进行了大量的科学试验,完成了盐湖路基特殊设计和施工任务。经过五年运营和冬雨季考验,路基是稳定的,科研设计与施工是成功的,从而荣获了国家计委1981年优秀设计表扬和铁道部的优秀设计二等奖及1985年部级优质工程奖。 青藏线K718+237.05~K796+188.05m计77.95
The construction of the railway on the Salt Lake is our first initiative. The research on railway construction in the Salt Lake region was included in the scientific research plan of the Ministry of Railways in the early 1960s. In the Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Railways, the first Survey Design Institute, the seventeenth engineering company and other units formed a research collaboration group, conducted a large number of scientific experiments completed the special design and construction of salt lake sub-task. After five years of operation and winter rainy season test, the subgrade is stable, and scientific research design and construction are successful. It won the second prize of Outstanding Design Award of State Planning Commission in 1981 and the Outstanding Design Award of Ministry of Railways and the Ministerial Quality Project Award in 1985 .
