一佳叔是粤剧传统的忠实继承者,也是粤剧的革新家。十八年前,由澳门名流何贤、陈琼伉俪和香港王梁洁华博士发起的纪念粤剧著名表演艺术家靓少佳的活动,在省、市主办单位支持下,在何建青等工作人员努力策划下终于得偿夙愿,实在令人告慰!我和佳叔交往不多不深,只是1970年在奉调到市粤剧总团代书记一年左右的时间与他有过接触,但佳叔的艺德两全的印象却使我终生难忘!谨举两例加以说明:1970年,我受当时广州市文化局陈仲达副局长委托,与陈光同志合作创作了以反映饮食业新气象的大型现代粤剧《满堂红》剧本,由东风粤剧团卢启光等排演。初稿交给当时抓艺术的粤剧总团团长靓少佳同
