对直喷点燃式汽油机的性能进行了研究。将喷油器和火花塞置于燃烧室的中心,对不同的喷油器与活塞形状的组合进行了试验。一台带螺旋进气道和活塞凹坑的单缸四冲程2气门直喷式汽油机能通过改变喷油定时和喷油量得到均匀和层状混合气。从测定的排放特性表明,空燃比越大,HC和NO的排放越少,燃油耗越低。还对另一组用平顶活塞、单坡屋顶燃烧室的4缸四冲程4气门直喷式汽油机进行了试验研究。它的性能与现有的进气道喷油式汽油机的性能相近。
The performance of direct injection ignition gasoline engine was studied. The injector and spark plug were placed at the center of the combustion chamber and different combinations of injector and piston shape were tested. A single-cylinder, four-stroke, two-valve, direct-injection gasoline engine with a helical intake port and piston pockets provides a uniform and stratified mixture by varying fuel injection timing and fuel injection volume. The measured emission characteristics show that the larger the air-fuel ratio, the lower the HC and NO emissions and the lower the fuel consumption. Another group of 4-cylinder four-stroke four-valve direct injection gasoline engine with a flat-top piston and a sloping roof combustion chamber was also tested. Its performance is similar to the performance of existing intake fuel injection engines.
