鳌太穿越,是指由鳌山沿秦岭山脊徒步至太白山,堪称是国内最难走的徒步线路之一。鳌山,也称西太白,位于陕西省太白县,海拔3476米,是秦岭第二高峰。太白山,位于陕西眉县与周至县交界处,主峰拔仙台,海拔3767.2米,是秦岭最高峰。整个穿越过程,实际行程在100公里左右,海拔跨度从1740米到3767米,大都行走在冰川遗迹形成的石海、雪地之间,几乎囊括了秦岭的所有精华,此线路道路之艰险、气候之变化莫测、沿途风景之美丽,在国内都是首屈一指。
