洛铜集团公司是“一五”期间兴建的156项重点项目之一,是我国最大规模的综合性铜加工冶炼企业。其生产过程存在的主要职业伤害有:物体打击、机械伤害、起重伤害、触电、灼烫伤、电击伤、高处坠落、中毒和窒息等,生产现场存在的主要危害因素有粉尘、噪声、高温、有毒有害气体等。建厂以来,共发生死亡26人次,重伤99人次。洛铜集团始终坚持“安全第一,预防为主”的生产方针,形成了以领导安全生产责任制、月综合评价挂旗制度、安全例会制度、领导安全值班制度、厂和车间级领导安全资格认证制度、安全检查制度、安全教育培训
