随着社会的发展,人们通常用法治指数来判断或衡量一个国家或地方的法治状况。由此可以说,法治指数已成为评估法治的重要工具。民主示范村的评选工作和地方法治建设都是在农村法治建设状况评估的基础上进行的。在我国,虽然农村法治建设如火如荼,法治指数应用广泛,但在“民主法治示范村”的评选中处于真空状态。为使民主法治示范村的评选工作更规范、更优化,建设科学、合理的法治指数势在必行。
With the development of society, people often use the rule of law index to judge or measure the state of law in a country or place. It can be said that the rule of law index has become an important tool for assessing the rule of law. The selection of democratization model villages and the construction of local laws are based on the assessment of the status of the legal construction in rural areas. In our country, although the construction of rule of law in rural areas is in full swing and the rule of law index is widely used, it is in a vacuum in the selection of “model villages for democracy and rule of law.” In order to make the selection of democratized villages for law and order more standardized and more optimized, it is imperative to build a scientific and reasonable index of the rule of law.
