Any discourse has cohesiveness and coherence. Translation, as a form of language communication, should also be carried out at the discourse level to ensure the loyalty and accuracy of translation. This article focuses on the cohesion and coherence of discourse, and illustrates the principles and techniques that should be paid attention to when translating texts.
