鱼耳石是一种典型的由碳酸钙和有机质构成的天然生物材料。为了查明其微观形貌特征,作者对实验室不同水介质条件下养殖鲤鱼的未经处理、经过碱洗和Na2EDTA处理及经过打磨后再经碱洗和Na2EDTA处理的耳石样品分别进行了SEM观察。结果表明,组成微耳石的文石呈六边形或假六边形有规则排布成板片状或者柱状;星耳石则由球状或豆状的球文石晶体组成。对耳石进行打磨抛光再利用NaOH和Na2EDTA处理表面后,不仅可以更加清晰地观察到耳石的晶体形态,还能够较清楚地分辩其日轮,日轮宽度约为2μm~3μm。不同水化学条件下耳石的晶体微形貌特征差异并不大,初步推断,水体中的元素含量差异对耳石晶体形态的影响并不显著。
Fish otolith is a typical natural biomaterial composed of calcium carbonate and organic matter. Grinding and polishing the otolith and then using NaOH and Na2EDTA to treat the surface can not only observe the crystal morphology of the otolith more clearly, but also distinguish its day wheel more clearly. The width of the day wheel is about 2μm ~ 3μm. Under different hydration conditions, the otolith crystal micro-topographical features are not large differences. It is preliminarily concluded that the difference of elemental content in water has no significant effect on the otolith crystal morphology.
