炎症在动脉粥样硬化的发生发展中起重要作用 ,前列腺素是重要的组织源性炎症介质 ,环氧合酶及其前列腺素产物在动脉粥样硬化中的作用越来越受到关注 ,环氧合酶 2可能成为动脉粥样硬化的治疗靶。他汀类药物具有抗炎活性 ,其机制尚不清楚 ,有可能通过前列腺素途径在动脉粥样硬化的治疗中起重要作用 ,而选择性环氧合酶 2抑制剂可能与他汀类药物起协同作用。
Inflammation plays an important role in the development of atherosclerosis. Prostaglandin is an important tissue-derived inflammatory mediator. The role of cyclooxygenase and its prostaglandin in atherosclerosis is getting more and more attention. Epoxy Synthase 2 may be a therapeutic target of atherosclerosis. Statins have anti-inflammatory activity and the mechanism is unclear and may play an important role in the treatment of atherosclerosis via the prostaglandin pathway, whereas selective cyclooxygenase 2 inhibitors may work synergistically with statins .
