甲状腺的体积与年龄和性别的关系问题尚有争论。作者采用精确的超声扫描方法测定271例正常人(年龄13～91岁)甲状腺容积,同时测定T_4,T_3,TSH,T_3UR FT_4l及FT_3l。结果:平均甲状腺容积为18.6±4.5ml(8～33ml),男性(139例)和女性(132例)的甲状腺容积分别为19.6±4.7ml和17.5±4.2ml,有显著差异(P<0.001)。受检者平均体重为67.7±13.6kg(40～100kg),男女体重有明显不同(p<0.001),分别为73.2±10.8kg和62.7±9.8kg)。作者指出,男女甲状腺容积之差别是由于男女体重不同所致,若用体重予以
Thyroid volume and age and gender issues still controversial. The authors measured the thyroid volume of 271 normal subjects (aged 13-91 years) by means of an accurate ultrasound scan and simultaneously determined T_4, T_3, TSH, T_3URFT_4l and FT_3l. Results: The average thyroid volume was 18.6 ± 4.5ml (8 ~ 33ml), the thyroid volume was 19.6 ± 4.7ml and 17.5 ± 4.2ml in males (139 cases) and females (132 cases), with significant difference (P <0.001) . The average body weight of subjects was 67.7 ± 13.6 kg (40-100 kg), with significant differences in male and female body weights (p <0.001), 73.2 ± 10.8 kg and 62.7 ± 9.8 kg, respectively.
