在十四届六中全会上通过的《中共中央关于加强社会主义精神文明建设若干重要问题的决议》中,把努力提高全民族的思想道德素质作为加强社会主义精神文明建设的重要方面,提出为人民服务是社会主义道德的集中体现,思想道德建设要以为人民服务为核心。可以说,这在社会主义道德理论上是一个新发展,抓住了社会主义道德的精髓,成为建设有中国特色社会主义必备的思想条件。如果社会全体成员都能自觉地按照为人民服务这一道德准则去行动,就能形成团结互助、平等友爱、共同前进的良好人际关系,就能使道德建设更好地成为我国经济发展和社会进步的重要推动力。
In the “Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Several Important Issues concerning the Strengthening of the Construction of Socialist Spiritual Civilization” passed at the 6th Plenary Session of the 14th Central Committee, we put forth the effort to improve the ideological and ethical standards of the entire nation as an important aspect of strengthening the socialist spiritual civilization.
