原弓的工作室地处繁华的上海市长宁区古北路附近,闹中取静。工作室占地面积千余平方米,是在2006年由一座国营的三层厂房改建而成的,现与周边上世纪六七十年代的公房建筑和原居民互为邻里,友好相处。工作室的一楼空间由装置制作实验室和影像室两部分组成;二楼为阅读资料库及会客间,阳光植物长廊是助手们偷闲谈情说爱之处;三楼曾经发生火灾烧毁,修复后现为仓库与几十只流浪猫的安居窝,因为过去曾想在工作室内举办次涉外的艺术展览而未获批准,并由此引发参展的外籍艺术家在此抗议,而最终
