Sulfur Dioxide The average annual SO2 concentration in urban area of Wuhan in 2005 was 0.042 mg / m3, reaching the second grade of “Ambient Air Quality Standard” (GB3095-1996), a decrease of 0.002 mg / m 3 as compared with the previous year . The annual average value of each monitoring point ranged from 0.033 to 0.061 mg / m 3, and the Qingshan plant reached the third level of ambient air quality before the test point and the other points reached the second level of ambient air. 2. Nitrogen dioxide The annual average nitrogen dioxide concentration in urban area of Wuhan in 2005 was 0.043 mg / m3, reaching the second grade of “Ambient Air Quality Standard” (GB3095-1996), a decrease of 0.009 mg / m3 from the previous year. The annual average value of each monitoring point ranged from 0.025 to 0.058 mg / m3, both reached the second level of ambient air standards. 3, Respirable particulate matter In 2005, the average annual inhalable particulate matter in Wuhan City was 0.107 mg / m 3,
