苹果苦豆病的发生与果实含钙量低有关。在英国,苹果贮藏期的苦豆病常常发生在外果皮到中果皮。果园喷布或采后浸沾钙的氯化物或硝酸盐,能减轻病害。钙溶液的真空和高压渗透也是有效的采后处理方法,但容易造成果实损伤。
The occurrence of apple-bitter bean disease is related to the low calcium content of the fruit. In the United Kingdom, bitter bean disease during apple storage often occurs from the pericarp to the mesocarp. Orchard spraying or post-harvest immersion calcium chloride or nitrate, can reduce disease. Vacuum and high-pressure infiltration of calcium solution is also an effective method of postharvest treatment, but it is easy to cause fruit damage.
