The purpose of history teaching is not only to impart historical knowledge, carry out ideological education, but also to develop students’ intelligence and ability to cultivate, especially creativity. Can we cultivate students’ creative thinking in history teaching? The answer is yes. First, the use of heuristic teaching, to create a situation of students’ creative thinking to stimulate students’ learning motivation and curiosity, to develop students’ thirst for knowledge, to mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of learning, is an important condition to help students form and develop creative thinking ability. The generation of this condition needs to rely on the heuristic teaching situation created by the teacher. The history lesson must turn the teacher’s single information output and the student’s unidirectional information input into the boring injection teaching.
