This year, Britain’s Times published a series of three studies by David Miller on the rapid development of sports in democratic Germany. The article holds that there are many reasons for the fact that only a democratic Germany with 17 million inhabitants has achieved brilliant achievements in world sports. The author believes that the main reasons are: First, the history and tradition Historically speaking, the Germans are more interested in sports than the British, Nordic and other Europeans have a broad tradition of fine sports activities. German anthropologist Guzmaz published in 1793, “Youth Gymnastics,” a book clearly states: “Every child can benefit from gymnastics.” Democrats now do not deny that Germany in the fourteenth century the military The rule era laid a good foundation for the development of sports activities. As early as the modern Olympics, Germany Kuping called on the Germans to engage in 60 minutes of physical activity every day. As far back as 1922, Germans held a gymnastics and sports festival with 100,000 athletes in Leipzig.
