2008年12月19日,2008年年度自然灾害情况核定会在京召开。民政部会同国土资源部、水利部、农业部、国家统计局、中国地震局、中国气象局和国家海洋局等部门对2008年全国自然灾害损失情况进行了全面会商和核定,并根据灾害损失情况、社会经济影响等指标,评选出2008年度十大自然灾害事件。
