作为连词,before的基本意思是“……之前(以前)”。我们进行英译汉时,在许多情况下可以将其译为“(在)…之前”等。例如: A man must have some entrance into the language before he goes to a foreign country.一个人在前往异国之前,必须对该国语言略知一二。
