In 1988, Wuhan Rural Energy Office and Hubei Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences cooperated in undertaking the task of aiding the construction of the biogas power generation project in the Togolese Republic. The reconstruction project includes: one Avigurouc livestock breeding center 50M ~ 3 biogas power generation project and one 6M ~ 3 household biogas digesters and one 10M ~ 3 domestic biogas digesters at Namil Center for Agriculture and Livestock.
