1948年10月,辽沈战役期间,廖耀湘西进兵团受蒋介石之命,企图夺取黑山,重战锦州,继而向关内撤逃。我东北野战军奉命在黑山、大虎山一带设防,诱阻该敌。闻名中外的黑山阻击战打响了。在天寒地冻、缺少粮食弹药的情况下,东北野战军与五倍于己的敌人展开了浴血奋战。几昼夜酣战,尸横遍野,三昼夜坚守,高地被削去了两米!在我军英勇之师的顽强阻击下,终于迎来我主力全歼廖耀湘兵团十万余众的重大胜利。
In October 1948, during the campaign of the Liao-Shen Campaign, Liao Yaoxiang’s western infantry regiment was ordered by Chiang Kai-shek to attempt to seize Montenegro and wars Jinzhou and subsequently withdraw from the customs territory.
