How to inherit and develop the essence of Chinese cultural tradition in the context of globalization is a topic worthy of study.This paper discusses the significance of inheriting and carrying forward the essence of Chinese cultural tradition under the background of Chinese culture going global,interprets the terms of cultural tradition and the essence of Chinese cultural tradition,analyzes the connotation of Chinese cultural tradition and points out some strategies so as to further innovate and develop the Chinese cultural tradition.
