盛唐时期英才辈出。在西蜀就出了赵蕤、李白师徒俩,当时苏颋向皇帝推荐人才就说:“赵蕤術数,李白文章”是“蜀中双璧”。赵蕤是一位品德高尚、学识渊博的进步思想家和谋略大师,也是巴蜀文化熏陶下产生的蜀学杰出代表者。他的著作《长短经》已经出了60多种版本,在海内外广泛流传,产生了深远影响,很值得深入研究。赵蕤是李白的老师,李白能成长为闻名世界的伟大诗人,与赵蕤的培养教育是分不开的。
