张平合毕业于北京工业大学计箅机科学专业现任雅虎公司中国区总经理,负责难虎在中国大陆的全面业务。在加入雅虎公司之前,张平合服务于ASCEND公司3年。曾担任首席代表、北方区总经理及中国区销售经理等职务,其杰出的管理及销售技能使ASCEND在中国的销售业绩在2年内增长了50倍,使公司在Internet接入、ATM/Frame Relay等方面在中国的ISP和电信市场的占有率皆处于第一的位置，同时，也使其负责的中国区的组织及人员壮大了10倍，因此张平合曾于1997年及1998年两度荣获ASCEND公司总裁嘉奖。在此之前，他党政军服务于pictureTel、AT＆T、Lucent中国公司，担任中国区市场及销售经理。
