以固体形式将H_3BO_3和LiOH·H_2O溶入纯水中配成浓的水溶液并在高于45℃的恒温下反应合成了一种新的结晶化合物──β-三水四硼酸锂。这种新的结晶化合物是文献中已报导过的稳定的α-三水四硼酸锂的同分异构体。研究了这种β-型化合物转变成α-型的过程,并且讨论了这两种化合物的物理和化学性质。这种新的同分异构体的合成对硼酸盐化学的研究具有理论和实践意义。
H_3BO_3 and LiOH · H_2O were dissolved in pure water as solid to form concentrated aqueous solution and reacted at a constant temperature higher than 45 ℃ to synthesize a new crystalline compound, β-lithium tetraborate β-hydrate. This new crystalline compound is an isomer of stabilized lithium tetraborate α-trihydrate which has been reported in the literature. The conversion of this β-type compound to α-form was studied, and the physical and chemical properties of both compounds were discussed. The synthesis of this new isomer has theoretical and practical significance for the study of borate chemistry.
