《徐霞客游记》,人们从来都认为它是一部地理、历史、文学名著,并不把它当语言学作品。本文却想从中挖掘出研究方音的资料,是非得失殊难意料,姑且写出来向我省各地广大读者请教。徐霞客自明代崇祯十一年(公元1638年)至崇祯十三年(公元1640年),在近两年时间内从东面曲靖到西面腾冲,从北面丽江到南面建水,足迹遍及大半个云南省。由此而写成的
