本文根据国内外近年对稀土处理钢的研究结果和钙处理方法的发展,讨论了稀土处理与钙处理的相同作用和不同特点。对稀土的某些重要作用,如微合金化效应,改善高温性能,改善焊接质量,改善热加工性能,改善铸态组织,以氧化物形态在钢中弥散分布以提高某些性能等,作了简要的介绍。 对进一步发展稀土处理钢所面临的一些问题,作了初步的分析。这些问题是: 1.从我国稀土处理钢的产量与国外的巨大差距来看稀土处理钢的发展潜力; 2.稀土处理钢可能扩大应用的领域; 3.加强稀土处理钢的理论研究与应用相结合的必要性; 4.通过与钙处理法的发展作比较,明确加强对稀土处理钢加入工艺研究的重要性; 5.降低稀土处理钢的成本。
