Chaozhou, like a pearl embedded in the South China Sea coast, has been exuding a charming luster for thousands of years. The flourishing ceramic art is undoubtedly an important factor in making this pearl more dazzling. Chaozhou is not only the political, economic and cultural center of eastern Guangdong, but also one of the cradles of Chinese ceramic culture. As early as the Neolithic period, the ancestors of Chaozhou began firing pots, pots and other pottery, the Tang Dynasty started a real porcelain production, while the Song Dynasty was the heyday of ceramic art. From the contemporary to the present, it is also known as the “Porcelain Capital of China” by leaps and bounds in the ceramic industry.
