Core literacy is the product of the information age. The pursuit of self-realization and the success of pursuing a career need to meet the requirements of people in the development of the times. Such a requirement essentially delineates the framework of core literacy. Many countries and organizations are trying to establish a core set of frameworks that meet the development needs of the country or organization. The core framework of excellence set by the OECD, the EU and the United States is the most representative. Reflections on the nature of core literacy help to understand the implications of core literacy at a deeper level.
