在全民整风运动胜利的基础上,在大跃进的形势下,党的中医政策也得到了很大的胜利。我们医院是在这种情况下走向中西合作的。药局是医院的一个重要经济、技术、业务部门,工作较忙,任务重,加之我们缺乏经验和两套技术知识的工作方法,这种情况对我们药局来说,曾经是一个困难,拦住我们前进。但是在党的领导和关怀下,在药局同志的干劲和努力下,困难终于克服了。在我们两院合并之前不久,原西安市中医医院和西安市第七医院曾接到西安市卫生局指示,要求西药人员学习中药,中西药人员互相学习,并要求在一定时期内,西药人员基本上掌握中西药两套技术,中药人员也要懂得西药的一些基本知识。当时原第七医院的西药人员在思想认识上是不一致的,有的同志愿意学,但他是从好奇心出发的;有的则认为中药不过是些草根树皮,没有什么可学的。原中医医院中药同志,则认为西药难学,需要较多的文化知识,特别是对外文感到棘手、难记。领导上针对着同志们的这些思想及时布置了关于“中药有没有可学的和西药是否真的难学”等问题的讨论。在讨论之后,大家一致认识到,中
