The literature reports systematically the chromogenic properties of dibromophenylfluorone (DBPF) in Ge (IV) -DBPF-HCI-CTMAB system and its application, which is characterized by its reaction in high-acidity HCl solution. Sensitivity is also high, but iron (Ⅲ) and other elements allow the set is not high, so its application is limited. In this paper, the use of neutral surfactant OP instead of the cationic surfactants CTMAB or CPB, although the reaction sensitivity decreased, but the allowable amount of some common elements have increased significantly. If the reaction is carried out in sulfuric acid solution, its sensitivity is more than in hydrochloric acid solution
