The perspective of manners offers an infinite possibility of looking at the interaction between Edmund Burke’s cultural perspective and English literature. Since the fall of Burke, British literary experts are good at using literary relics after another, and education is not only related to people’s daily speech and manners, but also to the state’s governance, the development of social ethos, and the maintenance and evolution of social order. Given Eagleton’s reference to a handful of British literary works incidentally when discussing Burke’s cultural connotation, we have reason to start with more English literature to further explore the trajectory of their interaction with Burke’s cultural ideas.
