Silicon Valley is located in Santa Clara County, northern California, USA. This is a 48-kilometer, 16-kilometer-long, narrow strip that, while small in size, centers on about 7,000 electronics and software companies in the United States, with a total output of more than five One hundred billion dollars. These high-tech companies are inseparable from the electronics industry’s basic material silicon, so this place is called Silicon Valley. In recent years, most of the new products related to the electronics industry have come from Silicon Valley. The Silicon Valley model has become a typical development model of integration of science, technology and production and has become synonymous with knowledge-based and technology-intensive industrial zones. People always have such questions as to why Silicon Valley appeared in the United States but not in other countries. From the analysis of the U.S. education and research system, we can conclude that the emergence of Silicon Valley in the United States is by no means an accident.
