唐僧取经是一个真实的历史事件。唐太宗贞观年间,僧人玄奘孤身一人到天竺(印度)取经,经17年时间,行经5万余里,历尽艰险,九死一生,终于取回657部梵文佛经。后来,其门徒根据他的口述,先后写成《大唐西域记》和《大唐大慈恩寺三藏法师传》,记述其西行见闻和神异经历。在当时交通条件极其困难的情况下,唐僧孑然
