With the outbreak of the peasant uprising in the late Ming Dynasty, there was a massive struggle against the feudal landlord class in the southern part of China, which was launched by oppressed servants and tenants. Modern historians call this the “slave liberation movement.” Mr. Fu Yiling believed that the enslavement movement that took place in the Pearl River Basin was a tributary of the people’s resistance movement in the south of China at that time and was of great historic significance. What is a pity is that during the Ming and the Qing Dynasties, this major historical event in Guangdong society was described only in thick lines in local history, but it was seldom recorded in the Qing anthologies and notes of Guangdong. Even the most detailed description of Guangdong in the Ming and Qing Dynasties Of the “Guangdong New Language,” a book, there is no single mention. This will give us a thorough study of this historical event and bring about some difficulties.
