多路遥测系统中可以使用光纤段作为时延元件来构成连续的时分复用数据结构。各个节点(即信道)光耦合器备有把光分束并向总线光纤注入的装置。光时延的大小由总线光纤在递次节点问的长度决定。此法可用来简化与各数据信道(节点)有关的电路,消除锁相环和其它复杂的同步/定时元件。
Multiplexed telemetry systems can use optical fiber as a delay element to form a continuous time-division multiplexed data structure. Each node (i.e., channel) optocoupler has means for splitting and injecting the light into the bus optical fiber. The size of the optical delay is determined by the length of the bus fiber at the next node. This method can be used to simplify the circuitry associated with each data channel (node), eliminating the need for phase-locked loops and other complex synchronization / timing components.
