Where did the name of the Three Gorges first come from? In the Western Jin Dynasty, Zuo Si’s “Gan Du Fu” mentioned: “After the Three Gorges.” In the Water Scriptures written by Sanchi in the Han dynasty, Guangxi Gorge, Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge were mentioned, but they were not named in the Three Gorges.
