文学教学是人文教育的核心要素,高校只有扎实地促进文学教学才能够为自我的综合成长注入动力因子,也才能够使高校在同类学校中凸显个性魅力。基于高等教育的教学宗旨来考量,高等教育的目的在于培养利于社会需求的综合性人才,这就需要高等学校不仅注重科学教育,还应重视大学生的文学教育。伴随着文化全球化趋势,英美文学教育日益凸显出来,但英美文学教学还停留在传统的教学模式中,这与高校所追求的通才教育相差甚远。因此,要根据高校文学教学发展的现实需求,革除英文文学教学的弊端,提高英美文学教学水平进而深厚大学生的人文素养。
Literary teaching is the core element of humanistic education. Only by solidly promoting literary teaching can colleges and universities be able to inject motivation factors into the overall growth of their own. Only in this way can colleges and universities highlight personal charisma in similar schools. Based on the teaching aims of higher education to consider, the purpose of higher education is to cultivate comprehensive talents conducive to social needs, which requires colleges and universities not only pay attention to science education, but also attach importance to college students literature education. With the trend of cultural globalization, English and American literature education has become increasingly prominent. However, Anglo-American literature teaching still stays in the traditional teaching mode, which lags far behind the general education pursued by colleges and universities. Therefore, according to the actual needs of the development of literature teaching in colleges and universities, we should get rid of the disadvantages of teaching English literature and improve the teaching level of English and American literature.
