2004年5月19日-5月24日在德国普法兹州的美茵茨市举办了两年一次的“艺术面对面展览”。这个展览由州政府出资,提供给经艺委会评选通过的艺术家参展。参展的作品有传统的架上绘画、雕塑,也有装置作品、综合材料、行为艺术等多元的艺术形式。本次展览还邀请了世界各国部分艺术家参展,胡振德、魏根生等四位中国艺术家也参加了这次展览。现发表德国普法兹州文化基金会执行主席、艺术家协会会长、画家冯·波依斯伯爵的发言和部分参展作品。 The biennial Art Face-to-Face Exhibition was held May 19 - May 24, 2004 in Mainz, Pfalz, Germany. The exhibition is funded by the state government and provided to artists selected by the Arts Council for their participation. The exhibited works include traditional shelving, sculptures, installation art, composite materials and performance art. The exhibition also invited some artists from all over the world to participate in the exhibition. Four Chinese artists including Hu Zhende and Wei Gensheng also participated in the exhibition. Presentations and some exhibitions of works by the Executive Chairman of the Pfalz Foundation, the President of the Artists’ Association, the painter von Bois, are published.
