通过对574份试材的综合分析研究及抗病低酚棉花新品种普棉14号的成功培育,认为:①低酚与抗(耐)枯萎病不存在遗传负相关,选育抗病低酚棉花的较佳技术路线应该是,有性杂交渗人抗源基因—早代干病圃进行一次自然淘汰和人工定向选择—无病圃和病圃对中选个体进行交替种植选择。②感病的低酚棉品种或无抗源的低酚棉组合后代,若置病圃连续种植和筛选,亦可获得抗病材料,但需时较长,选效亦差。
