再生稻具有省工、省本、省水、早熟等好处,特别在今后大面积推广杂交水稻,充分发挥杂优再生能力强的特点,对气温低,劳力少,季节紧,复种指数低的山区,增加粮食产量是具有现实意义的。我县去年在高山,平原,用双早,中稻及单晚田搞再生稻多点试验证明,只要认真摸索再生稻的栽培技术,一季再生,也能达到或超过两季常规稻产量。一九七七年全县双季早稻作再生9.15亩,平均亩产385斤;梅林大队上艾农科组3.35亩四优二号(闽优一号)再生试验田,早季亩产1056斤,晚季再生亩产526斤,两季亩产1852斤,其中有1.20亩早季亩产1291斤,晚季再生亩产733斤,两季亩产2025斤,在我县首创吨粮田;南
